Fritz Mini does wireless phone, music, internet

Everything in technology these days is about doing as much as you can on a single unit, throwing pretty well every function into something that is wireless, has a color screen, and a seamless operation. FRITZ! Mini seems to fulfill all of those requirements, because on a single little gadget, you'll find the ability to take calls, listen to music, look up info, check email and more.

The high resolution color display is great for checking up on current news and weather, and you can be sure that connectivity won't be an issue, because the FRITZ! Mini will do 802.11g WLAN, as well as USB 2.0.

Phone calls can be made both through traditional fixed-lines, as well as through the internet (VoIP). Music can be heard through Internet radio, podcasts, and even regular old music files – pretty well anything you can stream over the internet or from the PC. You'll even receive notification of when you get an email or text message in your FRITZ! Box. Online viewing of current news, weather and other content can also be had on the color display.

The FRITZ! Mini by AVM should be available in the third quarter of this year at a yet to be determined price.
